I had to get comfortable with Excalidraw for an interview, so I decided to do a quick view of the archive system. As you’ll notice, Excalidraw’s SVG output uses tags for the fonts that other readers tend not to support, so when you look at the SVG in a browser the fonts are replaced with differently-sized defaults. I can still read it though. Overall I like excalidraw—it does a good job of assuming which defaults and behaviors you want for a basic diagramming use case. I wish they used less ambitious markup in the output.
